Eastbourne Sightseeing - Diversion

Due to road closures caused by the Eastbourne Airbourne event, Eastbourne Sightseeing will be unable to serve the Bandstand and Lifeboat Museum bus stops (numbers 2, 3 & 16) from Thursday 17th to Monday 21st August.

Our normal route will resume on Tuesday 22nd August.

Route 197 - Service Suspension

Due to road closures caused by the Eastbourne Airbourne event, we will be unable to operate Route 197 from Thursday 17th to Monday 21st August.

Route 197 - Weekday Service

We are pleased to advise that Service 197 now operates every day, as advertised, following confirmation of licensing clearance from the Department for Transport.

Road Closures - Saturday 27th May 2023

Due to road closures in Eastbourne, we will be unable to operate our Eastbourne Sightseeing and Pevensey Explorer services on Saturday 27th May. We will be back as normal on Sunday 28th May - we look forward to seeing you onboard.

Eastbourne Sightseeing - New Season for 2023

Eastbourne Sightseeing - Season Extension

We are pleased to announce that due to popular demand, our 2021 season has been extended to 31st October. In addition, our Summer timetable with buses every 30 minutes has also been extended to 1st October - we look forward to seeing you on board.

Eastbourne Sightseeing - Service Diversion

Due to road closures caused by the 'Beachy Head Marathon' and 'Eastbourne 10k' events, we will be unable to serve the Italian Gardens and Foot of Beachy Head bus stops on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th October.

Eastbourne Sightseeing by Twilight

We are pleased to announce a trial of additional evening excursions covering our Eastbourne Sightseeing tour route. Operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11th to 28th August, you will be able to see the sun set* over the South Downs. Tour buses will pick up and drop off at Eastbourne Pier at 18:30 and 20:00, with short halts for photo opportunities at Beachy Head, Birling Gap and East Dean.

*Sorry, but we can't guarantee the weather!
